Good morning people who follow Christ

Jesus gave us very clear instructions as His followers.

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

In another passage, Jesus tells us three things that are required of a disciple.

Mark 8:34 Then He called the crowd to Him along with His disciples and said: “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.

We must deny ourselves. This is so hard to do. My self-will screams out with such a loud voice far too often. I know it’s no longer I that lives but Christ in me, but often my flesh seems to be alive and well. Denying myself
