Good morning people God is leading to a place
Mark 4:35-41 That day when evening came, He said to His disciples, “Let us go to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took Him along, just as He was, in the boat. There were also other boats with Him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, don’t You care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to His disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!”
Jesus directs us to a destination, not to a storm.
The storms of life are on the way to the destination, but they are not the destination itself.
For some, your destination, which is on the other side of the storm, will be on this side of the grave. God may have given you a clear promise, yet a current storm appears to be strangling that promise. If God authored the promise, it will happen! Just remember Abraham when God gave him a promise about Isaac and the many offspring through him (Hebrews 11:17-19). There was a storm where it appeared he would miss the destination, but God was faithful and He will be in your life too.
For some, your destination, which is on the other side of the storm, may be on the other side of the grave. God is not bound by time and His perspective is so much higher and greater than ours. We must fight the urge to allow our limited human logic to get in the way of accepting God’s ultimate divine purpose. The greatest destination for every Believer, a destination with no suffering, is on the other side of the grave
