Good morning people who partner with God

Isaiah 61:1-2 (NKJV) “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach… to heal … to proclaim liberty… and the opening of the prison… to proclaim … to comfort…”

The Holy Spirit anointed Jesus for the task at hand.

In the same way the Holy Spirit wants to anoint you and me to do something. Creation eagerly waits for those who will move in the Spirit of God and bring life giving change. The Holy Spirit came to empower you and me to be witnesses.

I love the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in my life but I will miss the point if I don’t realize that He is there to empower me for the mission.

Isaiah prophesied it and Jesus understood (Luke 4:18-19) that the Holy Spirit anoints us for action.

The Holy Spirit desires to first bring forth fruit in your life

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

God also desires to bring forth fruitfulness in your ministry through His gifts that He has given you. May we always use them for God’s glory and the benefit of others.
