Good morning wise stewards and faithful people

Proverbs 27:18 (NLT) As workers who tend a fig tree are allowed to eat the fruit, so workers who protect their employer’s interests will be rewarded.

In our work/ministry life there are many distractions that present themselves. There is that favourite project we love to spend hours working on. There are the people we love to talk to and build relationship with. We are gifted at justifying why time spent on these is ‘oh so important’. Yet at times if we are honest these activities can consume a disproportionately large amount of our resource.

Solomon reminds us here that fruitfulness is connected with ensuring we stay focussed on the tasks we have been delegated by those over us.
