Good morning people who choose to celebrate
Most of us don’t celebrate enough.
I’m not talking just about parties, anniversaries and other special occasions. I’m talking about daily celebrating life, daily celebrating achievements, daily celebrating victories and overcoming temptation and difficulty as well as daily celebrating all the good things God is doing in us and through us.
There is so much to celebrate…but we don’t stop long enough to do it. Or if we do stop, it’s not very often to celebrate.
Stop right now…it may be the start of a busy day for you, it may be in the afternoon where a lot is happening or it may be in the middle of some relaxing time. Whatever time it is for you, stop and think about what can you celebrate today; right now.
Let me prompt your thinking:
What areas have you grown in? What tasks have you completed? Whose lives have you touched? What lessons have you learnt? What temptation have you overcome? How about the time you got back up after you had fallen? What adventures are coming up? What truths has God revealed? Which friends did you enjoy spending time with?
There is something that you can celebrate right now. So go on, celebrate! And tomorrow celebrate some more. And why not try it three days in a row. It’s a much better way to live than complaining all the time…and it’s so much more fun!
Psalm 92:1 (NKJV) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.
