Good morning people who let God fight for them

Moses told the Israelites to let the Lord fight for them.

Exodus 14:13-14 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Too many times we, like Peter, pick up the sword and chop off an ear. Too many times we go into battle to try and obtain our own deliverance. The problem is we often fight the wrong battle; we end up fighting it naturally against people that stand in our way and not spiritually as instructed.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
