Good Morning people who worship God
Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, so that they may worship me.”
This phrase, let my people go, so that they may worship me is repeated by Moses under the directorship of God. It got me thinking. Some people think God is egotistical because He wants us to worship Him. The phrase I felt God dropped into my heart was worship is right.
You see, we are all created to worship, but it’s different to how we view it. Worshipping God is right therefore it fulfils us and completes us. Worshipping God adds to our lives. There is no negative side or disadvantage to worshipping God. It is as natural as breathing and as beneficial too.
The problem is many people’s worship is misdirected and the result is emptiness, they feel incomplete and something is lacking. People try to fill the God void by adding more things that should seemingly satisfy yet to no avail. Many times people avoid the very thing, God Himself, Who satisfies because there is a false belief that He won’t.
He will. And the reason is because worship is right. It’s a great thought – worship is right.
