Good morning people who don’t let your last stumble keep you down and out.
Proverbs 24:16 MEV For a just man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked will fall into mischief.
I feel a word of encouragement from the Lord for you today.
To the ones who keep falling, don’t give up and don’t stop rising up again. Keep on turning to the Lord. Keep on repenting. Keep on crying out to the God of your salvation.
I feel God’s heart for you as you read these words today. I sense the mercy and the forgiveness of God that is available to you.
I hear you say, “But what if I’ve gone too far? What if God has had enough of me?”
If you’re thinking this, then the very fact that you still have a conscience and a heart that desires to be right with God proves that you haven’t gone too far!
And don’t lose sight of the truth that this verse describes the man who has fallen seven times as just; this means righteous.
Every person falls at times, even godly people. Am I excusing sin and minimising it? Not at all! I’m just speaking the truth that we all miss the mark at times, and we all need the mercy and forgiveness of God. Even me and even you.
So, get up and go again. And if you need to get up again tomorrow, then get up again tomorrow. That’s not hypocrisy – that’s perseverance!
I believe in you and so does God, and He loves you dearly. God and you have got this.
