Good morning people who are precisely fashioned by the very hands of God.
Ephesians 2:10 NIV For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
There is nothing accidental about your life!
You and I are not the product of chance. You and I are not random happenings. You and I are created by Almighty God, and we are a display of His majesty and glory!
In a time when our very origin and authenticity is being undermined, it is important to come back to biblical truth. This is not for the purpose of shaming people or attacking them, but rather, in knowing the truth, real freedom can be found.
In the beginning, God created male and female in His perfect image. In Psalm 139, David echoed this reality when He declared God’s works of forming Him were wonderful. The same is true for every person today.
We must be careful to measure by how God sees things, and not by how people measure things. Surely, this is one of the greatest needs in all of life; seeing from God’s perspective.
And from the place of knowing that we are God’s handiwork, add to that the deeper spiritual reality of what happens when Jesus Christ becomes our very life! Everything changes the moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour! Everything!
God’s gift of salvation opens us up to be able to do the good works that God prepared in advance for us to do. Earning a paycheck is no longer the pinnacle of life. Our lives now have eternal value and worth, and this opens the door for us to rule and reign with Christ while we live life on the earth.
