Good morning people who take authority over every demonic influence.

It is important to remember the words of Jesus about how He desires to build His church:

Matthew 16:18-19 NIV “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus builds His church, and part of the way that He does this is through giving us the keys of the kingdom of heaven. He then explains exactly what He means by this: He wants us to bind on earth what is bound in heaven, and to loose on earth what is loosed in heaven.

In other words: Jesus wants us to forbid on earth what is forbidden in heaven, and to permit on earth what is permitted in heaven.

I want to speak into a shift that I believe is needed.

Mark 3:27 NIV “In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.”

Sometimes we are trying to release peace to people who are clearly bound. This is loosing on earth what is loosed in heaven, because there is peace in heaven.

While this sounds wonderful, it will not reap lasting freedom without first binding the enemy. This is binding on earth what is bound in heaven, because there are no demons in heaven.

We must get past feeling uncomfortable, and actually care more about the freedom of the one whom we are ministering to.

It’s time to come back to kingdom ways so that true and lasting freedom are the result.
