#5392 – God Hears You

Good morning people who have an ever-present God in times of trouble.

Exodus 2:23-25 NIV During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.

God is present with us even when we don’t feel Him. This is an absolute truth that we need to anchor ourselves to.

God also responds to those who cry out to Him. He is the God who listens and hears. He is not deaf and He is not indifferent.

God cares for you. God deeply loves you. God Himself is for you – completely.

If you find yourself in a dry, difficult or dark place, call out to God your Father.

If you are in a place where people have abandoned, betrayed or abused you, I urge you to turn to God and run into His open arms. He hears your heartbreak and He desires to walk through this deep valley with you.

May we all be people who turn towards God when everything in us wants to run away.

May we all be people who know God more intimately in times of increased difficulty.
