Good morning people who lean into the Holy Spirit for revelation of the truth.

Colossians 1:25-26 NIV I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people.

Fulness = Freedom!

God’s Word contains everything that we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). There is nothing lacking or deficient about God’s Word. Oh, how we need this to be our starting point of approaching God’s Word!

Paul talked about presenting God’s Word in its fullness. This is powerful!

But then he went on to make clear that, although the mystery of God’s Word had been kept hidden for ages and generations, it is now disclosed to the Lord’s people!

God’s Word is revealed clearly in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. He is the living Word! He is the revealed image of God! He is the fulfilment of the entire Old Testament and the focus of the entire New Testament!

And in addition to this, the Holy Spirit of God has come to lead us into all truth! (John 16:13). The Holy Spirit takes the deep things of God and reveals them to us! (1 Corinthians 2:10).

May we all be hungry to know the truth in its fullness.
