Good morning people who give God the best that He deserves

Hebrews 11:4 NIV By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

Yea, it is true, that everything good, including our desire for God, comes from God.

But we also need to understand this truth: Faith brings something to God.

Faith is not just about what we receive from God, but also what we give to God.

God the Father gave His best; His one and only Son.

And we are called to do the same; give our best back to God.

God doesn’t just deserve what comes easy to us, nor does He deserve our leftovers. Whether it be our love, affection, time, gifts, priorities, passion or pursuit, God deserves the best offering from us.
