Good morning people who walk before God with integrity

This is my prayer:

Luke 1:74-75 NIV To rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

Fear is a spirit that constantly tries to grip and disempower the people of God. Yet we are told very clearly in 2 Timothy 1:7 that ‘God has not given us a spirit of fear.’

I believe there is a fresh invitation to us all to enter into a deeper realm of walking with God and serving Him without fear.

How do we do this?

We walk with God in holiness and righteousness.

Yes, there is an outworking of our actions that honour God; we need to make right choices. But the starting pointing of holiness and righteousness is a revelation that both of these come from God. He is Holy! He is righteous!

And we are Holy because He is Holy and He lives in us! We are righteous because He is righteous and He lives in us!

Lord, teach us Your ways we pray in Jesus’ Name.
