Good morning people who are born again in the image of God

Matthew 2:1-2 NKJV Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

Jesus was born a baby, yet the wise men came looking for the one who was born a King.

As a human, Jesus was born in the same natural way as every other human. It wasn’t kingly. It was messy.

And yet He was a born a King.

Jesus was Who He was before there was any evidence of His spiritual reality.

So are we.

Many didn’t see this at his birth. Many didn’t see it when He performed miraculous signs and wonders. Many didn’t even see it when He died and rose again. Many still don’t see it.

But Jesus was and is the King!

People can miss who we are because of what they see.

People can equally miss who we are because of what they don’t see.

Spiritual sight is needed. Revelation is needed.

The wise men had it with Jesus.

May we have it with ourselves. May we have it with others.
