Good morning people who remain humble after you have been promoted

Esther 2:20 NIV But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her to do, for she continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up.

This was said about Esther after she was made queen.

Just think about this. Esther no longer needed to listen to instructions – she gave the instructions. She had made it. She had been promoted to a high position of influence.

Yet she didn’t change her posture of being teachable and having humility.

I have the privilege of being accepted as a prophet in several places now. Ministry doors have opened up and Father is graciously doing many great things. I am grateful.

But I am also still fully submitted to the apostolic counsel and oversight of my parents.

I am privileged beyond words to still live under the protection of my Dad & Mum who are my spiritual covering in my life.

When we have a measure of success, do we still listen to and submit to the counsel and instructions of our advisers and mentors?

There’s some things that we never outgrow, and submitting to oversight is one of those things.
