Good morning people who are privileged to have relationship with God

1 John 1:1-3 NIV That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus said of Himself, “I am the Life” (John 14:6). In this passage, John makes it clear that the Word of Life and the Eternal Life that was with the Father from the beginning is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ = Eternal Life

John talks about fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. This is in the context of the Word of Life and Eternal Life. Combine that with Jesus’ statement in John 17:3 when He said, “Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.”

Fellowship with the Father and the Son = Eternal Life

The longer I walk with God and get to know Him through meditating on His Word and listening to His whispers, the more I realise it is more about Who He is than what He gives; it’s more about what’s in Him than what’s from Him.

With God and In God = Eternal Life
