Good morning people whose Source of reflection is God Himself

2 Peter 1:3 NIV His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge OF HIM Who called us by His own glory and goodness.

The more we know God (our knowledge of Him), the more we receive a revelation that we have what we need (everything we need)…for a godly life.

Too many times, we get disappointed with God, because He hasn’t given us what we want…and then we try and quote this (or similar) scriptures.

God does not exist to ‘meet our needs’ (albeit many times ‘wants’ and ‘demands’).

We exist to bring Him pleasure – it’s not the other way around!

We want God to fix our problems – God wants us to be like Him during our problems.

We have what (Who) we need for a godly life, and reflecting Him – especially when we don’t have what we think we need – brings Him honour.
