#3552 – Contending For

Good morning people who fight in the Spirit for the things that matter most

I feel Father is saying: “Anything worth living for, is worth contending for.”

I further feel Him saying: “‘Contending for’ is ‘laying hold of’, and ‘laying hold of’ is not trying to grab water with your hands.”

I interpret this as Father letting us know that when we contend for something in the spirit realm, it is not a vain exercise; that is, it is not a worthless waste of time or something we hope to achieve yet it is a futile effort.

Our walk with God is worth living for, therefore, it’s worth contending for.

Sometimes our walk with God feels easy…but sometimes it is necessary to contend for it.

Sometimes our faith in God feels easy…but sometimes it is necessary to contend for it.

Sometimes the call of God feels easy…but sometimes it is necessary to contend for it.

Sometimes our human relationships feel easy…but sometimes it is necessary to contend for them too.

”Is there something that Father wants you to contend for today?”
