#3478 – Looking Good

Good morning people who do not measure God’s work by worldly standards

Our greatest need this year is to see everything how Father wants us to see it, and one of the most important things Father wants us to see as He sees is ourselves.

I am quite a skinny man, and this is something that I have struggled with to varying degrees. Being ‘underweight’ by people’s standards can be as difficult as being ‘overweight’ by people’s standards. At times it is accentuated by well-meaning people asking me if I have lost more weight or if I am sick.

But I wasn’t made by people – I was made by God!

And last time I checked, God’s Word says:

Genesis 1:31a NIV God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.

Romans 9:20b NIV Shall what is formed say to the One who formed it, ‘Why did You make me like this?”

As the old saying goes, “God don’t make no junk” – and that includes you!

Maybe it’s time for us all to thank Father for the way that He perfectly made us.

Maybe it’s time for us to celebrate our distinctives and to see ourselves as Father sees us and made us.

Permit me to say, “You’re looking good today – God did good with you!”
