#3339 – Past and Present

Good morning people who celebrate what God has done and who walk in it today

On our journey with God, there is a right balance between what He has already done and promised, and what we now need to do to walk in Jesus’ purchased work and Father’s promised intention.

Here’s an example:

Deuteronomy 1:8 NIV See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD swore He would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.

God gave the Israelites the Promised Land, now they needed to go in and possess it.

Here’s another passage which was accomplished, but yet we need to walk in today:

Revelation 12:10-11 NIV Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

The enemy has been defeated, dethroned and defanged. Jesus correctly declared, “It is finished!”

Yet we need to walk in this victory. The word of our testimony is still needed today in order for us to walk in the finished work of Christ.

Don’t let the enemy win in your life, because He is already defeated by the blood of the Lamb! Now it’s time for you to testify about God’s goodness.
