Good morning people who don’t reject those who God has appointed

Exodus 16:19-20 NIV Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.

Sometimes as Christians, we pay no attention to our spiritual leaders, and then things start to stink.

Often when this happens we blame God or the leader that we have disrespected.

I feel someone reading this today reacted to the phrase ‘spiritual leaders’. In fact, you have made a decision to never again submit yourself to ‘spiritual leaders’ because they all abuse their authority and manipulate people for their own means.

While I empathise with you if you have sincerely and innocently suffered at the hands of spiritual leaders, I must remind you that God appoints leaders and most of them are great people doing what Father wants them to do.

May I be as bold as to say, it is possible that some of us have rejected the working of God because it came in the form of a spiritual leader crossing our will.

I want to encourage you to see what God wants to say to you today.

I thank God for spiritual leaders who watch out for me and love me enough to speak the truth, even when it hurts.
