Good morning people who have the Spirit of God living in them

At its core, prophecy is: ‘Making known the mind, will and intention of God. Speaking what can only be known by divine revelation. Revealing Father’s heart to others.’

Prophecy is lifting people’s vision, focus and perspective from here and now on a natural level to Father’s future intention and declaration on a spiritual level. In many ways, it is viewing things through Father’s lens. It is speaking the future now, and it is seeing the future now.

The Bible itself is a prophetic Book because it is the Word of God; it is what Father says about everything. This is the essence of the prophetic – Father’s perspective.

We live in a time when people need to know what Father says about things, and especially about them. Many live with uncertainty and many live without hope. And so, many need to hear what Father says, because He is a good Father and His plans are to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

When the angel of the Lord said to Gideon that he was a mighty warrior (Joshua 6:12), it was before there was any evidence to back it up. God was speaking prophetically into Gideon’s life; He was speaking from Father’s perspective.
