#2436 – Turn To God

Good morning people who repent and receive God’s love and forgiveness

Matthew 27:3-5 (NIV) When Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.” So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

How you respond to moments of failure is so important. For many of us, this is a much-needed growth area. This used to be one of my weakest areas, one which debilitated me.

I have discovered God is nicer than we think and He is kind and full of grace and love. It’s time to turn to God when we fall short of God’s standard of perfection. As we do, His goodness replaces our shame.

It really is true: What God has done for us is always more powerful than what we have done to Him or to others.

Turn to God, repent (change your thinking) and be free
