#2168 – God’s Provision

Good morning people who trust God in the area of finances

Ezra 1:5-6 (NIV) Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. All their neighbours assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.

Yesterday we looked at the truth that God can move people’s hearts to accomplish His plans.

Today I want to declare that God can use different people to supply financial provision for that which He has authored.

Here’s an important truth: God is not short on money or people through whom it can flow.

In the Bible, God provided finances and supply through coins in a fish’s mouth, multiplication of oil in a widow’s jars, multiplication of a small boy’s loaves and fishes, and materials to build Solomon’s temple through foreign kings and queens.

Haggai 2:8 (NKJV) “The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,” says the Lord of hosts.

Ecclesiastes 5:19 (NKJV) As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.

God can do what God wants to do anyway He chooses – including supplying provision for His vision. Our part is to obey what God has said to do in the timing that He has told us to do it.

If God has called you to do something, I encourage you to pray for wisdom for what God wants you to do, and pray that God stirs the hearts of others to give generously.

I pray for abundant provision for God’s vision in your life.
