#1310 – A Threat

Good morning people who live for the cause of Christ,

Acts 23:12 The next morning the Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul.

I believe that the enemy should hate us and have a plan to get rid of us. In fact, if the enemy is not plotting against us, maybe something needs to shift in our lives.

I don’t want to not be a threat to the enemy. I want him to know that I have given my life for the cause of Christ. I want to be someone who the demons of hell know about and they are threatened by my commitment for good and God’s will being done through me.

Too often too many Christians simply want to live a peaceful Christian life. I believe in living in peace; this is part of the fruit of the Spirit. But sometimes we have mis-defined it. It is not and should not be the absence of opposition. It should be the dependence on and confidence in God during opposition…the opposition that should be a part of every Believers life.

I’ll go as far to say that we shouldn’t be worried if we have spiritual opposition, BUT we should be worried if we don’t. If we don’t have spiritual opposition, we are not a threat, and we should be a threat to the enemy!

Acts 19:15 One day, the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?”
