Good morning people who worship The King
Matthew 2:1-2,11 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”…On coming to the house, they saw the child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
Why did the wise men bow down and worship a baby?
The wise men bowed down and worshipped a baby because He was a King.
When did Jesus become King?
He has always been the King. There was majesty in the baby Jesus, not just in the man Jesus, because He has always been King Jesus.
In the natural, a king is born as a prince, and at the appointed time, he becomes a king. Jesus was born as the King, has always been the King and will always be the King.
Do you see Him as King Jesus?
A king is not a ’buddy’ or a ’pal’. We approach a king differently than we do someone else. Even for natural kings, there is a certain amount of respect that is expected.
How much more with King Jesus!
Do you worship Him as King Jesus? It’s not the man Jesus that we worship, but the King Jesus.
I pray you pause today and picture Jesus as King Jesus; a King that was worshipped even as a baby by three wise men…how about by you today?
