Good morning people with a purpose from God

Matthew 1:18-19 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

Jesus Christ was born under what we would call ‘scandalous circumstances’.

Surely this was not the best way for the King of kings to start life on earth? Surely this would look bad on the resume? Surely this would hinder some people from accepting the truth that He came to deliver?

A scandal of illegitimacy as we would define it, did not, nor could not stop Jesus Christ from fulfilling His purpose!

I’m not sure you got that. Here, let me repeat it for us to think about.

Respectfully, don’t you dare limit the fullness of God’s intention being realised in your life because of ‘circumstances’ that you believe are more powerful than God’s objective. They are not.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
