#1185 – Astonished

Good morning people who share the good news

Listen to what the Word says about Saul only a few days after he had encountered Jesus Christ and chosen to follow Him.

Acts 9:21 All those who heard him were astonished and asked, “Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this Name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”

When was the last time people were astonished by something we said or something we did?

And what were they astonished at?

Was it a word or an act that powerfully demonstrated and reflected a God who deeply loves and cares for all humanity?

Or was it a word or an act that negatively reflected on the incredible God we profess?

It’s time to step up, to go deeper and to proclaim boldly the hope that is within us.

How can people hear unless we tell them?

YOU are the mouthpiece of the good news of Jesus Christ to those in your sphere of influence.

Do not leave it to someone else – the invitation has been extended to YOU.

There are people YOU know and love who have eternal life written all over them – if only YOU would be bold enough to tell them.

It’s time to be filled with the Spirit of God daily and live in the power that dwells in YOU.

If YOU don’t know what your calling is, then start with this: be a carrier of God’s presence and a proclaimer of the good news of Jesus Christ.

Yes, I’m talking to YOU.
