Good morning people of significance

The power is in the Word of God!!!!

You are the Word of God.

Now before you stone me or unsubscribe, let me speak the truth to you today.

Jesus was the Word of God made flesh (John 1:14). He revealed what God was like to humanity.

The Bible is the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We discover what God is like in the Bible and we discover how to live by Jesus’ example.

But before Jesus left the earth, He prayed a prayer in which He sent us into the world to be just like Him. This included being the living Word of God, the Word made flesh, that revealed what God the Father was like and shows others how to live.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

WOW! Don’t tell me your life is not significant if you are a Christian: you are the letter, the Word, the living epistle, seen and read by everyone! We are sign-posts to God! We are the Word made flesh because of Christ Who lives in us! Your life is significant!!!

You might say, “I can’t do that Steve. I’m just…”

Yes you can!!! It’s not about our power, but it is about the power of Christ Who lives in us!!!! Let me leave you with the next three verses which come after this bold statement we have just read:

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant
