Good morning people who take the posture of a student

Today I want to encourage you to sit with God and learn.

At the start of this year, God told me to ‘Be a student’ and He also told me ‘Don’t default’.

I have been aware of this all year, and I now realise that this needs to be my posture now and always.

It’s easy to be proud about what we know; about knowledge.

But knowledge is not there to puff us up and get people to look at us.

Knowledge is given so that we can glorify God; so that we can step towards God and help others step towards God.

Knowledge is not so that we can win an argument, but so that we will glorify God.

I have much to learn, and I want to sit with God and have Him teach me.

John 16:13 NIV But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.
