#6537 – Upgraded Vision

Good morning people who desire to see deeper spiritual realities.

Jeremiah 1:11-12 NIV The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied. The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”

Ephesians 1:18-19a NIV I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe…

I recently saw a picture of me in a spiritual optometrist appointment where a new updated lens was being prescribed.

God doesn’t want to just cleanse our existing lens, but rather, He wants to prescribe a new lens.

The difference is this:

Cleaning an existing lens means you are seeing the same things a little clearer, but prescribing a new lens means you are seeing things you have never seen before.

In our walk with the Lord, God wants to prescribe an upgraded lens.

In our view of ourselves, God wants to prescribe an upgraded lens.

In how we see the kingdom of God, God wants to prescribe an upgraded lens.

But we need to be willing to let go of our existing lens.

Upgrades are voluntary. Upgrades need to be accepted. Upgrades require a willingness and an eagerness “to go there.”

Are there new things that Father wants to show you in the realm of the Spirit?

Are you willing to position yourself for a spiritual upgrade of vision?
