#6535 – God’s Mission

Good morning people who are called to be ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 19:10 NIV For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Life is not about the much, it is about the mission: seek and save the lost.

In a world that is overloaded with much, it is imperative that we as the people of God stay on mission with the purpose of God.

God loves people, and this is very good news! God loved you enough to send Jesus to pay the price for your sins. Hallelujah! You and I have a guarantee of eternal life in Christ Jesus because of God’s love.

Distraction is a thief of our day.

Distraction is essentially a thing that stops us focusing on something else. Distractions can be good things or bad things. Distractions can be things that were right in one season but they are not for this season. Distractions can be comparisons or desires that are amiss. Distractions come in all shapes and sizes, but at their core, they keep us from fulfilling our God-given assignments.

It’s time to replace distractions with commitment.

I pray the following Scripture leaps within your heart today as we meditate on what is important to God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 NIV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

May we all be ambassadors for Christ today.
