#6037 – Speaking to You

Good morning people who meet with God as you meditate on His Word.

Exodus 3:1-4 NIV Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”

There is so much in these few verses!

As you slowly read this scripture again, what is God saying to you?

I want to encourage you to grab a piece of paper and a pen, listen to the Lord, and write down what He is showing you from this scripture. Don’t overthink it – just write it down.

The purpose of the Bible is not to give us good and helpful information, and nor is it to entertain us with incredible stories of miracles.

God’s Word is given to us for us to go deeper with the God of the Bible. He wants to pull us into His heart. He wants to speak to us and listen to us. He wants to meet with you and commune with you through His Word. God wants intimacy.

God’s Word is also used by God to call out of us what He has placed in us. God ignites vision and dreams and purpose through rhema words from God as He meditate on the logos Word of God. And today, God wants to speak to you.

What is God saying to you in this scripture?
