Good morning people who point people to God as you move in spiritual gifts.
Genesis 41:15-16 NIV Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.” “I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.”
Supernatural gifts are always the gifts of God, not our gifts. It’s always about what God can do, not about what we can do.
According to 1 Corinthians 14:1, we are to eagerly desire spiritual gifts. This is a wonderful and even essential thing for every follower of Jesus. Moving in the gifts of God honours the God of gifts.
But it is so important in these days when people can be enamoured by spiritual gifts, that we stay completely connected to God and that we continually walk in true spiritual humility.
In and of ourselves, we can do nothing worthwhile. Even Jesus said He can do nothing outside of what He sees His Father doing. John also states this clearly in John 15:5 when he writes, “Without Him, we can do nothing.”
Our greatest contribution to the realm of the miraculous – including all spiritual gifts – is to be a clear signpost that points people to the God of gifts. If people encounter God as the result of us walking in the gifts of God, Father smiles. This is to be our goal and our pursuit.
To God be the glory.
