#3704 – In Good Times

Good morning people who love the refreshing times in God

Now for the verses of Psalm 23 that we really like, and many times greatly desire:

Psalm 23:2-3 NIV He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His Name’s sake.

We read this, and we all say, “YES LORD!” I do too.

For some of you today, there is an invitation from Father to pause, to pull aside, to enjoy Him, to slow down, to breathe a little, to enjoy Father’s goodness and His peace and His rest.

God is not a frantic God, nor does he require us to be frantic. Sometimes we are so busy ‘for God’, and while working with God is wonderful, He is not opposed to rest, peace and joy – after-all, He modelled rest and He is Peace and Joy!

I strongly feel that some people reading this today need to ‘ease up on yourself’. Take some time (God has endless amounts of it) and rest in Him and with Him.

Yes, some things might slip through the cracks or not get done, but those things are not as important as you – they’re not.

May He do you good as you take time to slow down and just be with Him.
