Good morning people with a good God

I feel it is only right to finish this first year of ‘Believing In You’ by declaring this simple life-changing truth; our God is good and He is good all the time!

My wonderful friends, we need to constantly remind ourselves of this. In a world where there is so much chaos and confusion, our God is good. He is not good only on certain days, He is always good. He is not good only when things work out as we had planned, He is always good. Our God is always good. Today in your life He is good.

This last twelve months may have been challenging for you but I pray we are able to see the goodness of God. Sometimes we need to intentionally look to see God’s goodness amongst the difficulties. By no means am I saying it’s hard to find but the reality is the pressures of life can become central in our vision. This is why Hebrews 12:2-3 is so vitally important to all of us today.

Hebrews 12:2-3 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Today let’s all fix our eyes on Jesus. He is our anchor in the storm and He is our joyful song. He is our life and He is our salvation. He is our never-ending help in time of need and He is our Friend that sticks closer than a brother. He is sovereign and He is supreme. He is eternal and He is personal. He is for us, not against us. He is with us, not far away. He is in us, not just near us. He is our all in all and today I boldly declare, our God is good all the time! Blessed be the Name of the Lord!!!
