Good morning saved and redeemed!

Isaiah 51:1 (NKJV) Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.

Sometimes we forget where we have come from, we forget the depths of the pit that God Himself has saved us from and rescued us out of. This phrase ‘hole of the pit’ here refers to a prison or a dungeon; a place where we were held captive and tormented. Life without Christ is a dark place to be.

There was a time every one of us was lost and heading for a Christless eternity in hell. The greatest preachers of this world were all once lost and it’s only by the grace of God any of us stand. We could not save ourselves and we were in a prison where we could not be freed
