Good morning people who love to communicate continually with God

Colossians 4:2 NIV Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Prayer is not a religious duty confined to a small amount of time once a day.

Prayer is an ongoing conversation with Almighty God (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Prayer should be based in listening to God more than talking to God.

I believe that ‘being watchful’ includes seeing from Father’s perspective. As we look on different situations and needs, ‘being watchful in prayer’ means we pray according to what we know originates in Father’s heart for the situation and the person.

I believe that being ‘thankful’ is the best fuel for the right-focused prayers. I also believe there is a supernatural transaction that takes place when the people of God ‘pray with thanksgiving’. Giving thanks shifts something, and many times that something is us.

Prayer is a privilege, and prayer is something a friend of God will want to devote themselves to.
