Good morning people of the Word

The second weapon of our warfare that is mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds is our proclamation.

Our words are creative. God’s are and we are made in His image.

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue (words we speak) have the power to bring life or death.

In Ezekiel 37 we read the story of the valley of dry bones. God asked Ezekiel “Can these bones live again?” Ezekiel responded in the same way we might “Only You know God”. God said “YOU prophesy life into them!” In other words “You literally create life with your words.”

Sometimes instead of speaking words that create life, we confess the things we dread into existence. “I’m coming down with the flu”. “I don’t think I’m going to get that job promotion.”

We also confess the facts more than the truth. The facts are the reality that a thing is so and the truth is what God’s Word says about the situation. A Fact: A bad doctor’s report. The Truth: By His stripes we are healed.

Today we need to boldly confess the truth and declare God’s will into existence. Our words are powerful.
