#3344 – More Than Enough

Good morning people who rely on Jesus’ sacrifice, not their own

2 Chronicles 5:6 NIV …King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.

Still today, we can often default to continually trying to sacrifice for what we have done wrong. Over and over again, we sacrifice; we try to pay the price and atone for our sins.

And then we keep on sacrificing, because after all, “When have we sacrificed enough?”

Too often we forget that Jesus has paid the price! He became the sacrifice, and He has paid the full price, once and for all.

Hebrews 10:14, 18 NIV For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy…And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

Our freedom is found in embracing what God has done for us, not in what we do for Him.

Our best doesn’t come close, but Jesus’ best is more than enough!
