Good morning people who belong to a different kingdom

Straight after Jesus talks about us loving and praying for our enemies (we looked at this the last two days), this is what He said:

Matthew 5:48 MSG In a word, what I’m saying is, Grow up. You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it.Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.

Sometimes the directness of Jesus’ words shakes me, but it also calls me up to a higher level; a kingdom level.

I want to be a man of God who lives like Jesus tells me to live. Now, I don’t get this perfect, but the longer I am walking with Him, the more I realize, ‘His way works’!

We are kingdom subjects; we are subject to and subjects of a different kingdom!

Even as I type this, I am gripped to want to live as the King wants me to live!

May we all have a deeper revelation of what it means to be part of the kingdom of God.
