#3070 – Press On

Good morning people who fully embrace what Father has done for them

Philippians 3:13 (NIV) Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

In addition to being in prison, Paul also had the mental assault due to his violent past.

Maybe you too have a past that wants to keep on harassing you; a past that wants to hold you captive and trapped in condemnation.

But I pray we follow the example of this great man of God and ‘forget what is behind’. This terrorist fully resolved his past by fully embracing what Jesus Christ did for him. He even got to the point of declaring the following scripture:

Acts 20:26 (NIV) Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you.

It’s time to press on brothers and sisters. It’s time for God to be larger in our vision than we are. It’s time for what Christ did for us to be more powerful than what we’ve done to others.

Saul, turned Paul, pressed on…

”Will you?”
