Good morning people learning to pray
Here’s Jesus’ response to the disciples when they asked Him to teach them how to pray.
Luke 11:2-4 He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be Your Name, Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
I feel compelled to point us to a few important principles of prayer over the next few days. I pray it helps you in your communication with God.
Jesus is very specific and instructs His disciples to pray to the Father.
Jesus’ whole life was to point people to and connect people with the Father. He did not even focus on pointing people to Himself, although He clearly identified Himself as the way, the truth and the life. But then listen to the next part of John 14:6
