Good morning people who are secure in God

Matthew 9:23-25 When Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, He said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at Him. After the crowd had been put outside, He went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

Jesus is not insecure. He is not swayed by what men and women think or say. He is not intimated by those who laugh and ridicule Him.

Jesus knew who He belonged to.

Matthew 3:17 A voice from heaven said, “This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased,”

As a result of Jesus’ confidence being in His Father, He was able to continue on with His mission despite the opposition.

Do you know who you belong to?

1 Corinthians 3:16,23 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?…and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

Our confidence in the One we belong to will help us fulfil our purpose even in the face of opposition.

I pray today you are strengthened in the power of God’s Spirit; for His glory alone may we all live.
