Good morning people with a healthy reliance on God
The lost son made a decision to come home to his father. Maybe you are in that place also. God rejoices and so do I.
How should we come home to God?
Luke 15:18-20a I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men. So he got up and went to his father.
The son acknowledged correctly what had taken place. He took responsibility for the decisions he had made and he acknowledged it as sin. This is not a confession of weakness as many would describe it, but an honest reflection of a life in need of forgiveness. We all find ourselves in that place
