Good morning fervent followers of Jesus Christ

John 1:1-2,14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning…The Word (Jesus) became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God; He is God. He is not part God; He is fully God; He is completely God; He is wholly God; He is God.

Because of God’s great love, Jesus became fully man for a brief time in history to pay the penalty for our sins and to redeem us back to God. Jesus did this for relationship. Jesus did this in submission to His Father’s will. Jesus did this for love. But here’s the key point: He did do it.

But is Jesus still a man walking around the earth? No. He is risen and glorified and He is sitting at the right hand of the Father in heavenly places! (Ephesians 1:15-23) To have a glimpse of what Jesus is like now, have a look at Revelation 1:9-18.

Salvation; an eternal relationship with God comes through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way to the Father. We’ll have a look more at this in a couple of days.
