Good morning people who honour others

Genesis 26:24 That night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”

Sometimes the blessings of God in our lives are due to the faithfulness of those who have gone before.

Isaac was being blessed because of how Abraham lived. I am being blessed today because of how my parents have lived (and still are). Sure I have done some things well (and some not), but I am living now on the foundation they have so wonderfully and faithfully laid.

Today I honour my amazing parents, David and Margaret McCracken. I thank God for their commitment to God, their faithfulness and integrity and their example for me to follow. I am highly favoured and blessed of God and I know it is largely due to my parent’s faithfulness to their God.
