#664 – God Hears Crying

Good morning people who God hears

Genesis 21:17-20 God heard the boy (Ishmael; Abram’s son) crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar (Ishmael’s mother; Sarai’s servant) from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.” Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer.

God hears us when we cry. What a beautiful thought.

We are never alone; that’s right, never alone. God hears the deepest yearnings and longings of our heart. God sees the pain and the torment. God sees the anguish of spirit and the hurt and loneliness.

God sees, God hears and God responds.

Sometimes God responds personally into our hearts. He reaches down from heaven and gently whispers into our hearts, “Do not fear, I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You can trust me. I can even take this difficulty which the enemy intended for evil and I can turn it into something good. I can take your ashes and replace it with beauty. I love you my child.”

Other times God sends someone along to lift up our hands when we are weak, weary and burdened down, like He did with Moses by sending Aaron and Hur. God uses the Body of Christ, the Church, to be His hands and His feet. We need to humble ourselves enough to receive from others. This can be so difficult but it is how God designed it. Remember, you helped others, now let others help you.

God speaks incredible encouragement through His Word. Oh so many stories about people that knew they needed God. And He is faithful. We can trust Him. He loves us. He hears our crying and He will meet us in our time of need.

“Father, hear the cries of your children today. Please meet them in their time of need. And please fill them with your love, kindness and goodness. May they have a revelation of Your heart for them.”
