Good morning blessed of the Lord

Genesis 12:2 I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

‘I will make your name great’: This is talking about Influence. And then it clearly states the reason for being a person of influence: so we can be a blessing.

Do you find yourself in a position of power? How are you making a positive difference in people’s lives because of your influence?

You are not called to greatness because of yourself or for yourself. We are called to greatness because of God and His purpose and for blessing others.

I have a question for all of us today: Where’s your focus? Is it on where you are (your position) or on what you can do from where you are (being a blessing)? Think about it.

For me personally I am very privileged to be called by God as a prophet. This is not something I chose; God called me. But why did He call me as a prophet? He called me so that I could strengthen, encourage and comfort the Church (1 Corinthians 14:3). He called me to equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). He called me to be a blessing!

He called you too and He called you to your position to bless others.
